I have a juvenile yellow coris wrasse and he is definitely bothering my corals. Anyone have that happen?

Maybe your hammer has flatworms or some other pest the wrasse is trying to eat. Are you able to take the hammer out and dip it to see if anything comes off?

He’s been dipped I’ve had him for months he was happy and full the hammer does like being picked at I think I caught the wrasse and the hammer is already getting better.
It’s too bad I like the little guy but I guess sometimes you get one that’s a little to aggressive toward corals.

i cant think

The hammer may have had eggs you didn’t notice so maybe try dip again, those Halichoeres wrasses aren’t known to do that to corals without reason, I’ve had three similar to that and none of them have picked at corals without a reason
