Yellow corris wrasse hiding. When should i worry

Is that science talk for yellow corris wrasse lol.
Eh, it's actually science talk for "Yellow and Purple wrasse", "Canarytop wrasse", "Whitebelly wrasse", or "Lemon meringue wrasse".
"Yellow Coris wrasse" (a misnomer, as it's not a Coris species) is a common name typically associated with Halichoeres chrysus, a different species.

Will H. leucoxanthus work for what I want? A more peaceful wrasse that will eat pests?

Yes, the behavior of the two species is pretty much identical.
