So my yellow tang has decided it likes to flash when I walk up to the glass. He has been through treatment and so have his tank mates. I can stand far away and keep an eye and he acts normal. The second I get close to the glass, dude flashes around and does the little sideways swims few times. I walk away and it stops. Wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this. His best bud, sailfin, like ti push his face against mine if I out my head next to the glass.

That sounds to me more like either food anticipation or aggression, and not flashing due to disease. If the tang is still eating well and not breathing fast, I wouldn't worry about it.

Sounds like he’s letting you know that he’s the alpha, and he expects his tribute to be paid in food form.
If you’ve properly QT’d everything, you shouldn’t be too worried. Especially if you don’t see any other signs that would cause concern.
