Yellow tang sick or wounds?

Hello so my fox face has been super aggressive towards my yellow tang and I notice some markings on my yellow tang. Is it some type of sickness from stress or wounds from the fox face? Attached a video.

The left eye looks cloudy as well. The foxface seems be be really going after the tang - that’s the probable cause of all this. However, how long have the two fish been together? This is mutual to see n fish that have been living together fine for some time. Anything change recently?

They’ve been living together for about 5-6 months other than adding the purple tang a few weeks ago nothing has changed. When I first added the yellow tang the fox face was a little aggressive towards it but not to this extent. Other than the purple tang and in the process of raising my nitrates slowly for the corals nothing has really changed.

There is something called displaced aggression - where a new fish added is not directly involved with the aggression, but its presence causes changes in the relative compatibility of the other fish. Similar to a pecking order in a flock of chickens (actually more similar to that seen in troops of monkeys).

No - it might settle down in a day or two. A temporary tank divider would also be an option.

I see a white what looks like a Mucus Cone on the left side of the fish along with the Cloudy Eye but not sure. The aggression in the Video doesn't look that bad to me. Was the Purple QT'd?

Oh, and one more thing and this has happened to me. The Power struggle in the Tank can happen at night after lights out. By adding the Purple you may have disrupted this dynamic. They all have their designated sleeping spots, and the Purple may have commandeered one and that leads to fighting for the leftovers. I see adequate Live Rock in your Tang but are there enough spots to keep everyone happy?

Looks to me like little bite mark from foxface but hard to confirm due to blue lighting
