Is that like a discoloration on it? If so I think you have a Koi tang!! Correct me if I’m wrong but those go for $1k+ on the inexpensive side. Not sure what defines tangs as a koi tang but I know yellow tangs should be solid lol, from my limited knowledge koi tangs have discoloration like this

I think it’s a snail on the glass, weird angle

Haha. Yep. Those are ultra super rare.
I heard you can’t get them anymore after the Hawaii ban, probably a $5000 fish honestly.

I remember way back like 30 years ago, just before I was born, the only way to get them was from a tree and they weren’t very expensive. Lemme see if I have an old photograph!

Guys look I found the picture, used to come here all the time to pluck a fresh banana tang!

Very similar to a coconut tree, just climb to the top, and pluck the freshest one!
