Yellow Watchman Goby behaviour

Hi guys,

is it normal for YWG to not raise its dorsal fin? He‘s been in QT for a week now and most of the time, he clamps his dorsal fin.

Is it something normal? He‘s eating well though.

Hmmm.. Personally I wouldnt know, but it good that its eating.

They don't always keep their fins up... usually just when moving or intimidating another fish.

You should probably put a small container of sand in there for him. A sterile quarantine environment is stressful on fish who prefer to be hidden.

I use PVC pipe pieces and fake aquarium plants and corals to give them something to hide around to be less stressed.
