I bought it alongside a pistol shrimp about a week ago. The day I got them I acclimated them in the same container, and when I release them they went their separate ways. That was the last time I saw the shrimp, and the goby was out in the open up until this afternoon, then he went missing. I peeked into his burrow with my phone flashlight (probably wasn't the best idea if he's still in there) but no sign of the goby. My original concern was the shrimp being missing and now I have a missing goby. Could it have relocated burrows? I tried looking at all angles of the rock where it's burrow is. No sign of a new burrow.

Better look around on the floor. Gobies are jumpers. Also, many will burrow in different places in the sand.

Update, I had the top of my rockscape fall over, and I picked it up to put back on top, and amist all the sand being stirred up, he pops out. No sign of the tiger pistol but that was my least concern at this point being a week out. Thank goodness. For stock, I have in my 75:

1 pair of ocellaris, 1 pair of pajama cardinals, 1 azure damsel, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 emerald crab

I've had a pistol shrimp and yellow watchman goby for over 2 years at this point. They will still go "missing" for a few days where I don't see them and then they will show up in a new burrow. And I only have a 40 gallon tank :).
