Scientific Name - Chrysiptera parasema

Common Name - Yellowtail Blue Damselfish (Yellowtail Demoiselle)

Size - 2.8" (7 cm)

Min. Aquarium Size - 20 US Gal. (76 L)

Foods and Feeding - Varied diet for carnivores, herbivores, omnivores, live, frozen, flake marine fare. Feed at least 2 times a day.

Reef Compatibility - Excellent.

Captive Care - A beginners fish, one of the less aggressive Damsels, can be kept in small groups, provide plenty of hiding places, a male - female pair can be kept in a smaller tank, will spawn in captivity. Feeds on Zooplankton and algae, will ignore invertebrates, will pick at filamentous algae, do not keep with aggressive tank mates or the more aggressive Damselfishes.
