Seeing that you've had the glasscages tank for a while what do you think of it so far? I am going to need a new 40Br, but was thinking custom this time, with starphire as well.

Well there are defenantly better tanks out there, the silicon job and glass edges are not the best work in the world but its built like a tank and i cant complain. If i had it to do over again i would have opted for a smaller footprint overflow. All in all im quite pleased.

im digging it. i clean my glass about once a week and haven't done a water change in close to 4 months.

tell ya the truth i dont even know. I had a terrible hair algae problem a few months ago. I replaced my bulbs and set this ATS up at the same time and within a week all the hair algae in my DT was gone.Not sure what fixed it but im not going to change anything now. Now if i could only get my corals to darken a bit...

have you tested your phosphates? are you running any GFO or anything? either way, it looks awesome.

i tested my P04 back when i started with a hanna test meter but i have read that they can be off by as much as 20% yet the readings where pretty low, i don't remember the actual numbers. I pulled my GFO and carbon off the system when i setup the ATS.
