Looks like a bicolor pseudochromis. I had a purple in my 120. Aggressive towards docile fish but will probably be okay in your 250. What other fish are in that tank?

Anthias, Basslett, 2 pajama cardinals, 2 clowns, long nose hawk, Japanese swallowtail, 2 blue damsels, yellow mimic tang, coral banded shrimp a peppermint and 2 blood shrimp.

That is one great looking fish. I just added a bellus to my QT.
