Yet another weird thing

Ok so the other day Saturday i did my monthly water change and i had these white streaks on my black sand didnt think much of them so i just gravel vac them out but its only been 2 days and i have another one does anyone know what it is

Also my water has kinda a rotten egg smell

Is there anything dying in the tank?

No i had a starfish die about 2 weeks ago but i pulled it out as soon as i noticed

The smell implies something is decaying. Not sure what the lines are.

Hmm this tank is starting to annoy me i think im going tear it down and start all over with live rock new sand and water

Ok well i just tested my water ph nitrites nitrates and amonia are perfect calcium and alk are right where they should be so i am stumped

It still smells? GFO can help reduce hydrogen sulfide, but finding what is decaying may be better.

From what i have seen i think whats decaying is the clear slime that i had all over the tank
