I actually wrote a really long in depth post about this topic but my wife said it was depressing and people would want to discuss this topic so never posted.
I've told my wife to just get on here and ask what to do. And be prepared to take a lot of pictures. She knows how to feed and dose but that's about it.

Your wife must have been wondering what a double life you've been living to get involved in a crime as said suspect in the first place. Hahaha. I freaked my husband out too with my many directions. I don't think he remembers half of what I said. I'll have to write my fish into my will to make sure they're cared for properly until they find new homes when I kick off this corporal existence. Hum... Putting a fish tank in a will... That's not an eccentric or strange thing, right? LOL
In the show the man was just an innocent victim! To make matters worse though, I also have a very large reptile collection with lizards as long as 7 feet. My poor wife is gonna be in trouble when I die/am wrongly convicted

When you wife is worried about her pottery classes costing $200.00 for 6 weeks and you think 'Is that all? Heck I just dropped that on a new pump!'. You don't actually say that out loud of course. What you say is 'Honey, whatever makes you happy!'

My wife has stopped wondering if I'm chatting with a girlfriend...she knows I'm on R2R! Which she prefers to me being on the BRS website...that site can get expensive, those membership dues are really, really high.

Mine seems rothinks they are reefer babes I'm talking to...
While driving home from work, you look at the mountains and think "that's a cool rockscape" lol

Mushrooms on trees look like montipora.

You get a new batch of corals in, cut them off vendor frags, glue them to your own......AND manage to not glue your gloves, fingers, tweezers, turkey baster, goggles to each other, to yourself or to your wife's new dinette table or for the first time. :)

You Know You're Into Reefing when:

A) You check your tanks Ph before turning on the coffee maker
B) When UPS is struggling w/a large box and you explain to him its rock
C) You're in the grocery store buying shrimp & clams and tell the deli-guy it's for your anemones.
(had a guy in deli say - "your enemies?" No my anemones, had to show pics - all downhill from there)
D) You use RODI waste water for laundry, indoor plants, etc
E) You're at work answering threads on R2R

Conversation in my house not too long ago...

Wife: "So when are you getting a clown fish?"
Me: "I'm not!"
Wife: "But they're my favorites, so cute and pretty and you know...Nemo!"
Me: "It might hurt the duncan or the hammer or the frogspawn"
Wife: "Which fish are those?"
Me: "Those are corals...there and there and there" (pointing them out).
Wife: "........"
Me: "They could host and irritate them, damage or even destroy them"
Wife: "You won't get me a cute little Nemo because of corals?"

Me: "They can bite, too"
Wife: "So you were more worried about the corals than the fish biting me?"

Me: "no."
