The larger zoas (brown) are thriving and choking out their smaller (orange) brethren.

Question: if I use gloves to protect myself, can I trim the invasive polyps, or will potential toxins hurt the residents of my tank?

I would use kalk paste or Aptasia rx in the mouth of the brown zoos you want gone. They will die and spare the others
