This sunny d colony has been healthy for a while. I pulled it out a few days ago to frag and since then it's been struggling. About 1/3 the colony, all in the same side of the rock is closed up.

Random polyps have almost what looks like cyano growing on the polyp, which is what is being pointed at in the picture.

When I first noticed it, I pulled the entire rock, did a dip in chemiclean, and cut out the polyps with the gunk on them. Seems to have had no impact. More and more keep closing up and the gunk keeps showing up on random polyps.

This has been a healthy colony for about 6 months.

I'm wondering if it got some sort of infection when getting fragged, but I'm not super familiar with zoa/paly diseases outside of zoa pox.

Looking for some thoughts/help.

Thanks!

Another angle.

One of the angry polyps is center bottom with brown around it.
