so when I looked at my tank this morning a piece from the middle of my zoa colony has detached and is upright on the sand at the bottom of the tank. I placed it back in the middle of the colony. A few hours later it’s back upright on the sand. In mew. What’s up?

Yes. Three from the middle of the colony fell off in a clump and landed right side up. I put them back and they fell off again landing right side up again in the sand. No cuc missing. Everything else is normal in the tank. Should I do anything?

Occasionally I find polyps from my zoa colonies scattered throughout my tank, don't know how they get there but sometimes they just melt away and other times they start to grow another colony. If I'm not mistaken it looks like there might be some aptasia growing out from that colony, I can see some tentacles around the closed polyps in the lower left.

Thank you. I’ll check in the morning. The tank is at my office.

Polyps occasionally detach from their colony. It’s not a big deal usually. If you wanted to reattach that zoa, you should glue it into your chosen spot with a little glue placed at the bottom of the polyps.
