You can't treat the whole tank with the required concentration of chemiclean to treat ZMS or you will nuke your tank. You could try a normal treatment but this never worked for me.

I can't give recommendations about cutting off polyps because i don't know their status. If there are polyps disintegrating near healthy ones it could be advantageous to remove them, but if you injure the healthy one in that process it may be better to let them recover on their own.
Thanks for your input, I don't really have the means to do concentrated can we clean dip, so I just tried the normal guidelines with my DT-- disconcerting it wasn't effective for you :(

As far as the zoa polyps go, there are two that are centrally located that look to be improving but they are attached to a few stragglers.. I'm thinking it would be difficult to separate them so I guess I'll see if they can pull through!
