Ive had the zoa for a few weeks and have been trying to find the actual name of the zoa. It is quite small for a zoa and the picture doesnt do it justice on the color but the inside is a bright green with lines going all around it and the outside with a bright fiery color.

minions from Iconic Aquarium are similar but with a different color skirt.

Odds are it’s a micro and most don’t survive long in captivity so few have names.

anybody know why micros don’t survive long yet?
these look awesome and i’d love some but
from the few micros i’ve had they kinda have just melted away or disappeared after a while
a local shop has some that came in hitchhiking on a mariculture sps colony
but on the other side of the coin
i’ve got some exospheres that are TINY around 6-7 polyps on one regular plug but i’ve seen them larger/ i’m even gonna grab a single polyp this weekend to see the size difference
most of my zoas get pretty big and i have no clue why these haven’t
