zoa or paly ID

just trying to figure out if i just **** myself and placed a paly high in the rock work or not :) heres a pic

I could be wrong but I think those are Paly's. Do they close up when you touch or feed them?

These are some of my Paly's and they all respond to feeding by closing up when fed. Their like Venus Fly Traps. lol

they do close when i feed but i mean so do all my zoas, they all have a good feed response

Since they have such thick tentacle's they just might be Zoe's. They look great to me! I have many types of Zoe's and none respond to feeding like my Paly's do. Here's a pic of one of my blue ones finishing up a whole blood worm... Crazy but I luv em. lol.

Pandoras, which are Zoanthus cf vietnamensis, not Palythoa.

not Paly; note column/mesoglea, which is smooth, as opposed to rough in Palythoa (which incorporates particulates into its column). Also note the puffy oral disc, thick tentacles, and lack of capitulary ridges.
