Hello,
I first noticed something weird when I saw what looked like the zoa colony contract by a good amount when a hermit crab was walking by. Upon closer inspection, something is growing on the zoa tissue. Any ideas of what this could be? It has two mouths and contracts significantly when touched by something. When the mouths are open, it looks like an open cavity Pics below.
Top mouth semi open, bottom closed.
Bottom mouth fully open
After dark shot, mouths were full open, but closed when the flash went off.
