Zoanthid and Palythoa Eye Candy Thread (zoas & palys)

This was from my old tank back in 2009. Boss didn’t know how to take care of corals and they were stressed and brown. Three months later they looked like this in my tank.

Current pics of some of my palys.

Purple Death / Blue Death (IMO they color change based on tank conditions but are purple in mine) AOI on shelf above. I'll get a shot of the AOI colony next time. Today is palythoa day.

Palythoa Grandis, my oldest colony been passed around since ~2007 (Small frag of some Captain America or Captain Jerk in the corner.)

Nuke Greens (I know they are invasive and don't care. Love the color and the long lashes.)

How is your beautiful exosphere colony doing? I lost mine recently to blue clove polyps that somehow got onto the base of their colony.
It became infiltrated with a few aiptasia and as I killed them more popped up. Then hair algae moved in. I’m working on getting it cleaned up so it can regrow. I lost 50%
Of the polyps but still have 40 or so left
