Currently running a zoa dominated tank 25 gallon and just bought an AI Prime 16 HD, was wondering if anyone could perhaps help with some light setting/schedule for the best growth?

Zoas are quite adaptable and can tolerate and grow in PAR from 75 to 300. So how deep is your 25g tank?

it’s 18 inches deep and I keep my zoas at about 12-14 inches deep, the AI Prime HD is also sitting at about 6-7 inches from the water line

I’ve
My Zoas all did very well under a Prime HD with the BRS A+B settings
I’ve read that high UV will burn them? And if I’m not wrong the A+B setting runs UV at 119%

True UV is an issue, but most leds in aquarium leds call 400nm to 410nm as UV when it's really violet. True UV in the 375 to 400nm range (invisible to the human eye) isn't too harmful and does make yellows fluoresce well. And only a very, very few led fixtures have leds in this range. Shorter wave length UV of less than 375nm is very tough to find in any led system other than a few scientific intruments.

As Ron stated, that is not going to be an issue. A single Prime over an 18" deep, 25 gallon tank is going to be considered moderate lighting at best.

I originally had mine over a Nuvo 10 and got good Zoa growth. When I upgraded to a 12" deep 20g, The single Prime still kept everything happy, but with a definite slowdown in growth.

I wound up switching to a Noopsyche K7 for some additional spread and penetration down to the bottom, which is what I would have recommended to you if you had not already purchased the Prime fixture...

I have a 28G zoa tank lit by 2 Primes - one HD and one not. I use the Saxby LPS schedule.

I am very curious to what settings you went with because I have the new 16 like you and I am a little confused on the additional moonlight setting . I am currently set at the AB+ spectrum for the rest of the values. Just set them up today
