Hi R2R,

Any idea what is going on with these SUNNY D ZOA’s. slowly Been closing up and curious what your best guesses would be. Did a revive dip & some opened back up? #reefsquad

Any ideas or suggestions?

how much flow are they getting? Mine did this when I first added them. I lost a few heads before I moved them to an area with higher flow but they’re doing better now.

@Colin_1122 They get decent flow, they are in a lower portion of the tank. I have Bob Marley Zoa’s right next to them that are all open.

How long have you had these zoas? It could be a parasite or maybe they don't like the water parameters.

@kireek I’ve had them for about 2 months. What type of pest would you think? Also, how could I treat?

Try blowing across them gently with a turkey baster.
Also add a little iodine to the water

Zoa eating nudibranches would be what I would look for.

It looks like you have adequate Nitrates in your aquarium. The rest of your parameters look good. The only thing that I would worry about is your KH. Some zoas prefer a lower KH . Has this number been consistent ?
