Nice fish mate. Always wanted a Tang but my 125L doesnt allow.

Flamehawks are awesome too, but im worried theyll eat my Redline Shrimps haha.

Funnily enough, nothing really caught my attention this year with EOFY sales...

No must have pieces for me this year unfortunately

Nice system! I got a pair of S3 2200's, then ended up choosing a condo with a service elevator that's too small :(. Got 'em up for sale now, went with the 1800. Love CADE.

100% agree, Eofy this year and Black Friday last year were pretty mediocre.

I always feels it’s geared around fish

Literally same stuff every sale that’s discounted lol

Probably did your self a favour, the weight of the 2200s is mad, not fun job moving them!

This was my EOFY purchase last year (my 2nd coral purchase ever).

Unfortunately the only piece that is still alive is the Ricordea. ☹️

Tank has been going for exactly 1 year now and im still dealing with the ugly phase lol (have always had algea).

Am now dosing Red X to get the tank clean.

Decided to bite the bullet and finally order some lights!!!!

Ordered:

3x Kessil a500x
3x premium lighting mounts
3x extension slide bars
2x K link cables
1x wifi module

Had to be ordered in from distributor, but can’t wait till finally light 💡

Also took a photo of the large toadstool I bought a few days ago, currently in coral QT

Come to realisation that temperature acclimating fish into QT and making sure Salinity is close is enough

20260704_155245_8B18212C-7B83-41D1-AF4E-5D56AC16FDCB.png

Current in 2.2ppm of Fritz coppersafe as of yesterday. 29 days to go.

On other news,

Decided to try GMP 60

20260704_155224_E08C9D04-66A8-4D78-B424-33652E02E3C5.png

Bigger than expected

Actually holds onto 19mm glass and is quiet!!!!

Definitely win for the cost

Update!

As you can see from above, the kessils arrived.

20260723_080426_CE3EA97A-EC80-4BCF-B186-3DE1A49884D8.png

Took me ages to thread through the power cables and K link cables through the Kessil arm. Not fun at all!

Getting them installed was no fun either.
Power brick for the unit on the left had maybe 3inches of give in it due to the position of the control box and the height and length of the Kessil position

20260723_080813_057A242B-4C58-4D5D-8028-E729BFF58C82.png

My wife who is very much a weirdo at organising everything was sick at the sight of my control box…. Aka rats tails

20260723_080954_7181060B-EC65-4DDB-BA23-E7D1B5526445.png

Currently everything is finished. Lights are installed, looks neat and tidy, from the outside.

I’m running the kessils at 60% CLR and 100% intensity with 55 degree reflectors.
Starting at 10am ramping till 12 then constant peak till 6pm, with slow ramp to 8pm.

In other news,

Jecod GMP 60 had a fault, it was extremely warm to touch. I Purchased it from offical Jecod store on Aliexpress, quick email, they had sent a paid postage stamp, boxed up and sent back the next day. I had a refund the same day! Wayyyyy too easy.

Decided to get another, purely for price and how much flow they moved, naively hoping this one dosnt become so hot on the dry side,

20260723_081355_F0B6767E-CBD6-4067-A0E0-863C60BE98DD.png

I purchased the GMP 70.
Unboxed it was different materials from GMP 60, impeller and wet side casing was better constructed with nicer materials

GMP 60 below

GMP 70 above.
It’s way quieter, no where near as warm. At 100% throws fish around at the other end of the tank

The only issues I have had with the aquarium, is I could not get the top weir to surface skim, seems to pull 90% water from the lower to grills. Having spoke to Adam at Cade, he advised me this is a known issue with larger s3 cades. He’s sending out a diverter plate for the top of the weir, will keep you guys posted.

Fish QT going well.
All fish healthy and handling copper great.

Freckle face and the mimic hate each other, The Sailfin and purple hate each other lol.
Had to split them all up last week, all chilling now, sure they be fine once they have more room in the DT.

Will get some picks once the kessils turn on today!

What protocol are you doing for your QT? Getting a new tank and haven't previously QT'd fish.
Fish
30 days coppersafe at 2ppm using Hanna checker

The prazi 2-3 doses split 7 days apart

Coral qt

Sits at 28 degrees for 45 days without fish.
