So you have obviously been tending to it. Weekly water changes? What have you been dosing? And one important question.... What will you do with any accidental frags?
Daily 4g (ish) water changes. My Profilux runs those every day at midnight.
For dosing, just my CaRx and Kalk in my ATO.
Frags i'll sell off or give away like I did with the few I had from the transfer into the tub.
Amazingly, i go most things out of the old tank and into the tub without damage and still attached to the rocks!
But now to re-scape the new tank, I'm going to have to start removing all coral from the rocks.
Will probably start that this weekend.

Geez your set up is crazy, from the first time I saw the set up in the other forum. I've used a few things you did as inspiration to my build.
Thanks! :)

sweetest fish room ever. Very clean looking. Seems like you made lots of improvements over the prior setup. Good work man.
Thanks, and yeah... every new build brings with it experience and improvements from the previous build. :)

About time... lol

I know! Tell me about it!

But at least the shipping is quick.
The fuge coming direct from life reef is only taking two days via UPS, and the sump is coming via truck freight and will also be to the local office in two days.
Then it's just a matter of them calling me to make an appt for delivery.

[QUOTE/]OK, since us reefers need to stick together AND prod one another to go bigger :D here's what you need to do. Listen close. :ear:
Take your wife to the LFS a lot. In between trips to the shoe stores. I recommend DSW for that. Anyway... point out all the really pretty tangs and other fish that you secretly know would be too big for your tank. When she says to get that one, you say, "Sorry honey, my tank is much too small for that one. But how about this blue/green Chromis?"
Eventually she'll ask you how big of a tank you need. You're on your own from there, brother.[/QUOTE]

This is genius. Sheer manipulative genius.:xd:

I tried that. She said "Oh, I like the Chromis!"

So now I have a chromis... Luckily she didn't fight me too hard on my 225 in wall build :)

I can't wait to see all of this come together Dennis! Watching closely.... Like creepy close..... Can you feel it???? :twitch:

Here's a quick shot of the "Reefugium" in place with a 150w horticulture lamp. :D
Coke can is for scale!
Tank is empty, you are just seeing reflections.
But that image is color corrected... that's pretty close to the color of the light.

I'll show more pics later.
What you see there is the main drain on the bottom and an emergency on top.

LOL, i can't win.
People complain if I don't update and people complain if I update too much, dragging this thread along. :D The latter is more fun! lol
