I bought them at reefapalooza. Grabbed 20 of them for 140.00 late Sunday afternoon. I have some in this tank, and some in my big tank. A lot of them have split also, so I have a ton of rics!

Geez, I've been trying to find larger size rics. everyone that I've bought here lately has been quarter size or smaller. It sucks. I want full, bubbly rics.

Hmm. Do you get a diatom bloom just before it become absolutely clear?

No I don't. Never heard of that side affect with snow??

I use it in my big tank also. I mix it with zeobak and dose 2ml twice a week. If anything it actually helps with any films or diatoms. I had a small patch of cyano pop up. 2 doses was all it took to completely destroy it.

I don't know the ingredients of zeo products so I was just wondering. It could be a flocculant like Seachem clarity. I might have to give it a try.

Could be. You know how zeo is about saying what's in the blue bottles. I do like the product though. My water is definitely clearer after I dose. I dose at night with skimmer off for a few hours.
