I lose about 1 1/2 gallons a day on a five foot 90 gallon DT with a 40B sump. I wouldn't mind the water loss if it wasn't for it condensing on my windows during cold winter days.

About 3 gallons per day on a 130g system. Running 400w halide and have a fan kick on, blowing on light and water surface.

With Halides I used to lose about 6 gallons a day in wet Seattle on a 500G system. With LED I lose about 3 gallons a day on my currently 400G system.

I have a 65 and a 40 deep blue frag tank both open top and maxspect LEDs with a 20 gallon sump bit about 5 gallons in it and I lose about 5 gallons every 7 days.

evaporation restriction was one of the chief balancing aspects we found between ultra small tanks and normal sized reefs. even though I only lose about an ounce of water per day on my small reef with evap control, I like to measure how long it takes a tank to move from .023 to .024 as a takeaway practicality. proud to say my one gallon sps reef, with no ATO system whatsoever, averages three days between topoff at this range, and, can go as long as 9 :)

little bugger beats any known reef in terms of stability control with no ATO, except the sealed reefs that go .023 all the time they run

I have 3 tanks with open tops all hooked to the same 10g sump for a total water volume of about 75 gallons. I lose 1/2 gallon a day so with the high water and low water lines in the sump only about 2" an ATO is almost a must.

I have my system set up with an ATO reservoir that has a float valve directly linked to the RO unit and from there the tank is topped off automatically with a jbj ATO. I estimate roughly 2g per day this winter. I'll probably have to stick a fan on the tank this summer.

Man does it feel good not having to haul water around anymore.

About 14-16g per week in the winter. 10-12g per week in summer.
165 DT + 29 DT + 46 in a 65g sump=240g

Was MH/T5s now LED/T5s I cant see much difference between them as far as evaporation.
