I don't think conch is from the English language at all.
Oh it is ... Middle English apparently ... check this Conch - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary and you will see an explanation on the origin of the word
Huh. Go figure.
Great post!
Sorry again about the lack of picture, but I figured my frag tank build was a bit more important today...well the week.
Gotta have somewhere to grow frags I actually haven't even seen the cyano-tank in a coup days myself. It is blocked by a dry erase board that is wedged between some stuff while I'm arranging the rest of the room. It is gonna be gross I bet.
Ok guys! I have to make some coffee before I fall over. After that I will get down and dirty with a nice slimy photo shoot. I got some of my room organized a little better. I can now see my pet turtle again haha. Time to brew!
Here's a few pics. Kinda hard with the bulb reflecting off the water. Didn't capture the slime like it is in person. The yellow light really doesn't help either.
That my friend will be seen after 4 o'clock pm. My lights don't come on until then to combat heat in the room...though there is not much since I use LED
The diatoms are still a small issue on the sand but there is barely any cyano in the main tank. I'll get pics of that this evening. My display tank is never blocked from view lol
I'm 100% sure my cleanup crew is lazy. Haha. I have plenty of snails (14 at least) that have been reproducing ungodly amounts of tiny white baby snails. I also have around 20 hermits of various girth. There is a brittle star and 3 banded serpents, one that eats so much he looks like an urchin with dread locks for a day or two haha. I do have a heavy fish count, they all get along great, and most have a job, but they eat alot and poo.
Can't wait to see how this turns out!
