Ah yeah, I remember being excited about their prices and selection until I realized they don’t ship to the US
Hmmm. He just recently shipped to PoloReef somehow. But it’s always a sticky matter over the border I bet.
You guys have WWC and tidal gardens though right? They must have decent stuff

Both charge no less than $500 for any even slightly unique Cynarina, even green ones. The US online coral market is totally fudged, in part because of people like PoloReef... The hyper rich are pricing us out haha.

Both are pretty expensive, especially WWC. Doubt I’ll ever buy anything from them.

Yeah acantho and some cynarinas are all overpriced big time up in Canada as well. I looked at a piece today that was 1300 CAD so about a grand in USD.
Doesn’t help that there isn’t a ton of selection and stock on these corals either. Creates high demand big time.

Yep. Acanthos have always been $300-400 for the nice ones, but now you can't find a non-green one for under 1k locally. BSA is the only shop getting unique ones in right now and all of them are over 1.5k.
Add on to that the Indophyllia craze that's shot both Indos and normal Cynarina to the moon and back price wise... It makes my current spawning endeavors very difficult to say the least.

All acantho by me are like 800 and up and they are very big but boring colors. Nothing even worth posting here.

All my Cynarina ranged from $60-120, but I splurged on the green one with purple and gold highlights, that one was 180

Where do you get Cynarina that cheap, and do they ship? Those are some incredible pieces!

It took me a while but I worked my up the chain from a well known vendor and eventually made my way to their wholesaler/importer. I had an issue with an order and would not let it go and finally they leaked out accidentally a company name and said “these guys know what they are doing they impor thousands of torches and corals and bla bla”. Then I found out contact information for that company and talked about the issue I had with my order from their client. I Befriended the wholesaler. And after a year of causal friendly chat, I convinced them to sell to me directly. And yes they ship to me. But I’m not supposed to give their info out as part of an agreement

I would say 70% of the corals in my tank came from them over the last 2 years C2BD40C0-4644-4AB3-AF34-8CEC0E71020A.jpeg 08ED93F7-D4F3-4ECB-BA19-2D207CAF814D.jpeg 1461A86C-2B58-4E64-9D9B-50087C0B74FE.jpeg

Good connection. Definitely keep that one to yourself. These corals seem to just keep going up and up and up in $$$

I paid either 60 or 80 for this plus standard shipping.

When open like in the first pic it’s 3-3.5”

One time they had a Cynarina that really jumped out to me as special. It was crazy. Bright yellow/golden. Bright! And It was already sold :(

I asked what it sold for and they ignored me twice lol. Eventually they told me they sold it for $280. This was easily a 500+ coral.

I’ve been meticulous checking every order they get as soon as they get pictures but nothing like it has ever come in again. I’ve asked if I can give a deposit and be put on a waitlist for the next one, but they said they can’t guarantee they ever will get one like that again so they can’t accept a deposit :( I won’t give up i hunt for this multiple times a week lol

Sweet deal. Super cheap
What would this go for elsewhere?

I’ve looked at coral at my lfs once in the last year and the prices were insane

One head knicks torch 250
One head “green hulk” which honestly appeared to be regular everyday green torch for 200

The meat coral was large but a drab dark red that was boring and they wanted 800

That's incredible. I'm hoping to find a similar contact for my spawning project, it's becoming very difficult to source them at any sort of respectable budget. The amount of money that got me 12 in 2022 would get less than 5 these days.

Not sure about the states. But up here in Canada that would fetch $250 to $1000 all day long and all dependent on what colour/condition/size etc.
