Eh, my partner is actually pretty good about these kinds of things. But we have my money, your money, and our money, so that helps. He might roll his eyes at how I spend my money from time to time, but I do same to him.So you had a budget? I had to cook my books when I showed the wife to keep mine within my budget.
There's a joke in there, but I'll leave that alone.Your wood makes me randy! Love it.
Hurry up and close, i want to see more!
Mine too, just moments ago.My wife and I have the same "arrangement". She rolls her eyes a lot.
Thanks. I can't wait to see this tank up and running.Pretty much, but I did overshoot those costs just a bit.
Out the door, the 80/20 supplies total out at $1785. $140 of that is shipping.
For the reclaimed barn wood, there's just a tick over $300 there. And then in birch ply, there's almost $200.
I didn't go down this path with much regard to cost; simply the end product in mind.
Thanks! How exciting about the new build, I'm looking forward to following along.
Me tooThanks. I can't wait to see this tank up and running.
Thank you! I'm glad my wood seems to excite people.I love the build, and I love what people say and write like , your wood makes me Randy... First time I seen that
Yes, tile. "Wood look" tile; the "in" thing right now around these parts.Nice flooring! Tile?
Thanks for the complements Kevin. Was going to ask the same about the flooring. It looks great hunter! Probably less worry with the tank on that than "real" wood incase of any spills. Also I really like those big windows!!
Thanks, and me too!Wow! Your flooring looks so great and modern, I love it. Can't wait to see your tank in place, how exciting!
See post #19; totally TBD.OK GET ON WITH WHAT EPIC WRASSES YOU ARE PUTTING IN! I'm dying to hear!
Thanks Rev. Tanks only belong on tile, as far as I'm concerned. Plus post-tension slabs are a thing here, so there's nearly zero chance of anything "interesting" ever happening to the floor.I really like the wood look tile! The look is nice as well as the functionality. Not to mention the TRUE functionality when dealing with a reef tank and water! Good choice!
Oh look, a pile of new stuff!
That's a nice looking pile of stuff!Oh look, a pile of new stuff!
