Here is my ugly brown Squamosa! (used to also have a gorgeous Derasa that got ate by a snail left in the tank from the previous owner! :cry: Lesson learned, unfortunately.) It is about 4 inches I believe. Had since early Oct.

I like it! I like all clams no matter what. LOL!
 
Thanks :) I like it too. Its just definitely not the prettiest of the Tridacnid family for sure, LOL! Can you believe all the barnacles on the sides of it? It was like that when I bought it at a local club frag swap.
 
I was doing some reading on ORA's website, it says they like it more on the sandbed so we found a better niche than where he was on the sandbed before. Seems happy! And I tilted him so you can see him really well from the front of the tank, and he hasn't moved one millimeter since I placed him a few days ago. :)
 
I think it looks great. Mine looked really similar when i first got it then changed a bit after a few months. Now it looks like this...
