SCIENTIFIC NAME - Canthigaster rostrata

COMMON NAME - Sharpnose Puffer, Atlantic Toby

SIZE - 4.3" (11 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 20 US Gal. ( 76 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Varied marine meaty diet, chopped shrimp, squid, clams, enriched krill, fish, marine preparations for herbivores, feed at least 3 times a day.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Not recommended

CAPTIVE CARE - May nip fins of tank mates especially long and elaborate ones, aggressive towards con specifics unless a male / female pair can be obtained. Eggs are laid on a clump of filamentous algae, males are larger than females.
