So I thought I'd share the evolution of my tank. This is a 30gal that was given to me. It's a pretty basic set up, I run an AquaC HOB skimmer. I originally started with a donated PC light fixture.

I have a hard time taking pictures under the LEDs with my iPhone (which unfortunately is all I have), so any tips as I try to take more recent pics tomorrow is greatly appreciated!

they sell something called blue blocker for your cell phone its like a thin slab of clear paper and it blocks most of the blue in your tank when taking a cell phone picture its really cool.

Got a washed out derasa clam at a great price, and a female mandarin that I hope may pair with my male, will try to get some pics when the lights come on.
