I need some help.
I installed at Synergy Reef Ghost Overflow on my 155 gallon bowfront. I followed all the manufacturer's instructions when installing the unit. I for the life of me can not get it quiet. All the videos I see of this in operation have it super quiet, but I'm unable to achieve...
Hello everyone!!
This is my first post as my new profile (side note: I lost the password to my old one and never updated it anyways…plus I lined up my profile name to match my Instagram profile also J). I am finally starting my build profile for my new custom 180 gallon mixed reef. The tank was...
Hi there my name is Pat Murphy, I am new to Reef 2 Reef kinda. I've been hesitant to post on here. But this will be my first article.
Last summer (2018) I decided to go ahead and build a system. I decided on a 120gallon. This put the wheels in motion for me to learn how to silicone a sump...
Selling my Synergy Reef CL-22 Sump in Fusion Blue with matching 5-gallon ATO container.

Currently, I have 5 tanks. After about a year+ of doing 5 weekly water changes on two floors of my house, I've decided I need to consolidate some of my systems and move everything to one room. First step in this is consolidating my 40 gallon breeder and my IM Lagoon 50 into one tank and put it...
Well here we go again! Tired of keeping up with multiple tanks to feed the addiction so we have shut down the Reefer 250 and in its place will go a 48”x24”x22” Starphire CDAquarium. Per the title there will be many a wrasse swimming around here soon, At least 10... Additional systems will be...
I started my 40 breeder reef tank with a DIY 20 long sump but I would now like to upgrade to a manufactured sump. There are a few intricacies of my setup that have been making the search difficult.
1. Flow in the sump should be right to left (I could change this but it would be a plumbing mess...
This is my second "large tank" attempt my first being a standard 180 gallon that did well for a while but ended up crashing due to things caused by myself (overreaction to AEFW) and other unknown issues. Here is the link to that build for anyone interested...
I am trying to decide if I want to reduce them down to 1'' or go with a new sump that has 3 1.5inch bulkheads. I think this style of draining benefit's you with a greater pipe diameter! It also improves the flow rate of the siphon but the fact that a larger diameter pipe on the non-siphon drain...
That's right I'm upgrading my tank by 1200%, from a 10 gallon to a 120. Doesn't sound as dramatic when you just say upgrading to a 120. But here we go.
So the 10 gallon was set up over a year ago as a temporary tank until we moved until our own place. So 8 months after moving in I was finally...

Ok , I’m super stoked to start this build ! Little frustrating to start . I picked up the tank little over 3 week ago and had a cabinet panel damaged and after dealing with my lfs and finally emailing Red Sea the panel is on its way. Let me start off by saying this tank is a beast ! It’s heavy...
hi all
i left a message with synergy reef last week, but no response yet.
i purchased one of their fallout shelter acclimation boxes earlier in the year and love it. i want to purchase another one, but it looks like the product is now missing from their site. does anyone have any ideas if...
This is my full siphon on Synergy overflow. Is anyone running a flow sensor on their full siphon line? It seems no matter how closed down my gate valve is, I get sharp drops in flow. No air is making it into the lines, I have a steady trickle on the secondary drain line.
I have a synergy reef overflow ..... I plan on adding a remote fuge, more like 10 gallon cheato reactor.....my?????? what drain line should I tee off to run off into the fuge ???? my thoughts were the secondary ....but I planned on using a gate valve to control the flow... I started thinking is...

Hey guys,
After recently moving from 42 Wallaby Way to our new home we decided to build a 'small' saltwater aquarium to learn a little about science and keep a clownfish or two. I have never had an aquarium before so this is my first attempt to recreate about 2 cubic feet of the south Pacific...
Current FTS 12/24/16:
I will try to keep this updated but I am rather lazy about taking and editing photos, so we will see. :)
I broke down and sold my previous tank because I was a little disenchanted with the size and the way filtration was handled. I still consider it an excellent tank...
