I’m debating on getting 2 MP10s or 2 Mp40’s. It would be on a waterbox 70.3 which is about a 45 gallon display tank. I will also have the Nyos viper 5.0 return pump. What should I go with?
I have a gently used MP40WQD for sale, comes with original packaging. Cord sticky tabs unused. It does not come with the original foam guard. Purchased new in April of 2019. Asking $260 shipped.
So, I ventured into that wonderful world of tank upgrades. I upgraded from my 70g cadlights II tank to a Waterbox 5226 peninsula.
I'll be the first to say that it was quite challenging and took me nearly all day to do it.
I found myself worrying and stressing during the whole process. But...
So a while back I purchased a used MP40. Prior to that I had a MP10QD. The MP40 was significantly noisier.
I upgraded the driver to the QD driver. That helped out a lot, but not enough.
My question is would upgrading the wet side to the newer version be the next logical step as far as noise...
