Well we have moved the vehicles away from the trees as much as possible, got gas for our generator and battery's for my battery powered air pumps so we are ready as we can be if we lose power from the storm. We are expecting up to 20 inches of rain and lots of wind. Schools are closed tomorrow and Friday and at work we called everyone that had doctor appointments and canceled them for the next two days. They may close the office all the way which they never do.

what storm? that sounds like a hurricane?

Coris or Chrysus? Coris gets way to big for your tank.

I get confused about the names, but is it because each fish has two names? Is one the scientific name and the other the common name? What is the reason?

Coris is an incorrect label they put on the Chrysus.

The Yellow "Coris" wrasse, as they call it, is actually a Halichoeres wrasse, not a Coris wrasse. So better to just call it a Yellow wrasse or something like that. Coris wrasses are different, but I don't know their primary traits that differ -- they do tend to be on the bigger and less invert-friendly side.

But yes, one is the Latin or whatever and the other is "common". Coris is a genus but Chrysus belongs to the Halichoeres genus, not Coris
