Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Been a while since I posted an update on my wife's foot I suppose...

The swelling is down significantly. Her foot is returning to normal coloration with some minor bruising in her shin (likely from Urgent Care using more Urgent and less Care) and some bruising under her ankle. Mobility and flexibility is still limited in that foot and PT starts sometime after next week. She still hurts but hasn't taken anything for the pain since Thursday I believe.

She's a trooper.
Glad to hear she is on the mend Tim! What an ordeal.

Glad to hear that your wife is getting better Tim

Great news Tim!

Long day today but when I opened my phone and saw Amanda reacted to one of my posts my eyes lit up. So glad you are okay and I am so happy you are back. The Smorgasborg didn't feel the same without you!

Boy @Calmwaters , the government doesn’t act nearly as fast to a devastating hurricane in NC from what I’ve seen and heard from people on the ground :angry-face:.

I don't have specifics on the current response but I wouldn't say this is accurate in my experience. You have to remember these are historic incidents and essentially the existing infrastructure is just gone. Similar to when Hurricane Florence hit coastal NC in 2018, the southeastern coast essentially became an island for over a week.

Later I'll see if I can record a video to see what you guys and gals think about the tank's flow. Maybe it's because I was used to the other tank and another flow, but I see something different and I don't know if it's for better or worse.

Flow is the hardest for me to figure out. I'm never happy with flow. Hoping next tank does better. I'll have a look at yours anyway :)

Will be interesting to see your flow and the suggestions, as trying to figure out mine since there are actually corals in there now. Have spent all week researching powerheads, way to many options. Only thing I know for sure is not another mp40.

do any of you know how to get a hold of kung fu corals? i ordered stuff from them but they sent me the wrong thing. havent gotten any reply from my email. do they have a phone number?
