Still a bit hazy but getting much better.
Took 3000 grit by hand.
Getting somewhere....
Again, it must be something you have to see in person, it looks crystal clear to me. The tank is awesome Joel!

Guess who’s back, guess who’s back, guess who’s back (old school Eminem voice)

Hope everyone is doing well! I’ve been an absentee for the last 8 months or so but I did not let you guys down. The tank is doing wonderful. No major additions but one. I added an urchin. Got distracted while the shop tech was collecting one and when I got home and loaded into DT it has a significant wound or disease.

Who has urchin knowledge and can help?

Welcome back my friend !
Nice to see you!
Especially like the Buffalo Bills mini addition!
Darling!

Would a 48" reef breeder photon or whatever work on my tank (4x2x2)? I have an opportunity to get a used one (6 mo), and mounting supplies all for only $400.

I don’t have hands on experience with them but from what I’ve seen that would work really well on your tank. Is it the latest version?

Sorry, I know next to nothing about urchins except that they eat coralline algae and sometimes skimmer cords.

I’m still worried about John. I think we need to have Jill collect everyone’s emergency contact so she can text and make sure everything is OK. I’m looking at you Remi!

But wait, Jill is exhausted. Luis is young and the intern...

I have a tuxedo urchin but like Tim I don’t know anything about treating one an injury. Maybe start a thread on the disease forum and see if someone can help you.

He gets overwhelmed with catching up everyone on what’s going on, mounting lights, laying tile and eating Taco Bell!

Cute little guy!

Not sure, but because it's 6 months old I can assume it's a newer version...
