Got a nice serpent starfish at the LFS a few minutes ago!

After looking at the pictures of them retracted Kyle thinks our Kenya tree might be a rarer morph (can'trememberthe name). He'll probably be more certain when he grows out the babies. He told me that he thought I actually got a good deal even with the shipping expense. Not that I was unhappy about it, well worth it to get stock from a fellow reefer), but kind of extra cool if he turns out to be correct.
Edit: I meant to put this on my tank thread. I paid overnight shipping to have a fellow reefer send me his Kenya trees when he was taking his tank down, but I messed up when I created the label and UPS basically billed me forty some dollars twice.

Here is my little tank in August.

It's looking a bit different today.
I changed the lighting. Not sure if I'm happy with it at all. Might go back to the led fixture I bought.
It's water change day,every Monday.

This is it right now. Very white.
Nothing in here cares about the lighting except me.
I paid $10 for the LTA, everything else was free. I knew nothing about corals 2 years ago so I'm winging it.
Hopefully someone will read all this and it will help them too.
I don't dose anything, really. Just IO water changes.
I run phos at zero nitrate was 23.4 last week. Hoping to get that down then use algae scrubber to maintain.
We will see.
More later.

In my old 90 gallon tank I had gazillions of micro seastars. Whenever we would feed their arms would stick out of the rocks everywhere. We had a magnetic rock on the side glass and some would hide under it so we could see their entire body through the glass.

I'm probably going to sell my 110. I've got a 90 with an internal overflow I'm going to put in that stand and do a freshwater planted tank with a Betta sorority and a nice male Betta in the sump.

You should do an Alpha tank, not a beta.

Could be a Dove if the shell is full and not just a cap.
