Update on the turbo snail.
All 5 Are acting really weird, 2 of them are actually out one on the glass the other is just hanging it's body out of its shell and not moving but if I pick it up it reacts. The others are all in their shells since last night, nothing has been eaten Im giving up on turbo snails. I need tuxedo urchins. Are the snails dying?

I dont have one. My main algae defense is proper light schedule and nutrient stability/control. For algae my cuc is 1 emaerald crab, two huge turbos my stomatella population has exploded! I have so many that i pick them off and put the little ones in my aio sump. I agree with you that urchins eat algae for sure. Here's a before and after in my wife's tank.

All 5 Are acting really weird, 2 of them are actually out one on the glass the other is just hanging it's body out of its shell and not moving but if I pick it up it reacts. The others are all in their shells since last night, nothing has been eaten Im giving up on turbo snails. I need tuxedo urchins. Are the snails dying?

My advice is to be patient, in this hobby nothing happens overnight, if the turbos are eating or not it is impossible for you to notice it in 1 day, I remember that it was said that if the GHA was very big as I saw in a photo yesterday no CUC would eat it and less so quickly, it was also said that you had to look for what was creating it first so that it would not be an endless battle, I tell you this because I know that you are going to stress out and you are going to put all kinds of CUC and the problem is not going to be solved in a week even if you put 10 tuxedo urchind, believe me that desperation is going to bring more problems to the tank

I add turbo few weeks ago they dont go on rock yet, my trochus they stays on rock. I have a conch he is going out like every 3 weeks its shell is pure white it is like this since nearly a year.
