Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Good morning everyone! I gotta hurry. I have a new technician starting this morning and I'm running behind (because I'm on the forums..).

Good morning America,
Hope Katrina you are doing good.
Calmwaters you are counting days? All ready in your place?
Kevin I am assuming still peeping waterbox?
Yes I am counting down the days for sure! Hope things are well for you!

Rocks, maybe lower third to lower half. They can both handle light but the Favia does better and opens more in slightly lower light. My Christmas Favia sits about 3" off the sand bed and my Meteor Shower sits about halfway up - 10"-12" off th sand bed. The Meteor Shower is a pretty quick grower so give it room to encrust.
Ok thank you

Was looking at it yesterday!

if you use a old rodi cartridge like I am, you have to remove the filter pads they have fixed inside the cap and the fixed end. Other wise the pads will junk up and eventually stop flow. I have one for carbon and another for seachem phosguard when I use it. I put a very non dense foam pad in the fixed end and in the cap to keep the product I have inside from passing through the cartridge ends.

Okay yall it took exactly one hour to fill a 5 gallon bucket. I have a pretty expensive bluelab ph/tds reader.

Picture 1) my dirty water I’m reading 250ppm.

Picture 2) My RODI PPM reader, reads 0ppm for both water coming in and out (not sure what’s going on there)

Picture) My bluelab is reading 90ppm on my clean water.
