Currently we are getting a few snow flurries and the wind is awful here.

We didn't get nearly as much as they warned us about all week. Was told 20" or powder, then became 5-8" with 1/8" of ice

We aren't expecting any accumulation today but Wednesday they are saying maybe 4 inches.

Eastern New York. We have so much ice and we have many, many mature trees that could easily blow over. 65mph+ winds coming.

Ya it has been REAL windy here, fingers crossed your power lines stay up!

Last time we had winds this high it was in 2021, and the wind blew branches down everywhere. A power line got struck by lightning right outside of my house, so that was scary. We had no power for 3 days. Luckily I didn't have reef tanks yet.

Yeah. Flight got help yo because they had to inspect the pane for damage for a bird strike. Thank you. That bird saved my trip and delayed the flight so I could get on it. Otherwise I’d be stuck in NC. Not sure why the city of Charlotte needs to take a sample of the bird smear on the plane. To prove they didn’t hit Superman? Underdog? Uggh. It’s so freezing hot. But better than 10 degrees and the ice storm we left behind :-)

That's 61cents an egg.
Insane.
I'm spending $1200 a week on eggs.
