Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
It may be stress Rémi, in my tank my jumper is the exquisite, 4 times already my lid has saved him from falling to the floor
It happened this morning, the changes of color is since the lamps are off. He is acting weird. During the day he was somehow ok and eating. 5 times is on the floor.

I think I am losing the royal pencil. Since 1 month and half I cannot put my hand or tool in the tank without him jumping non stop. Many times I was able to put the lid to block but still a total of 5 times happened. When I move the chalice this morning he went behind the tank, I put it back right away. Now I can see he changes color no more black or blue just yellow and a bruise on his body.
By any chance is some fish being aggressive/assertive towards it? One thing I've noticed is that if a fish is being pestered they can become jumpy. My Firefish has been mellow for several years but now is jumping every time something moves. I noticed about a week ago that something had been nipping its tail recently. Makes sense to me, they become hyper-alert.

Sorta... I threw her across the room, scooped her back up, plopped her back in the tank, and now, almost 4 years later, anytime my hand goes in the tank, she hides in the back corner and the two males go with her.

It was actually kinda comical when it happened. I thought for sure she was a goner.
My man! Corporal punishment at its best. :face-with-tears-of-joy:

I had a pair of Tomato Clowns and the female turned nasty after about 8 years. She started attacking my hand when I worked in the tank. After the tenth or so time she happened to attack one of my fingers that was pointed just right and I wacked her pretty hard. Never bothered me again.
May need to do that. It doesn't necessarily hurt, it startles me more than anything because I'm not paying attention to her as I work in the tank. I may have bouts of tourette syndrome when it happens...lol... my wife just looks at me and shakes her head as I swear... alot... probably loudly...

You are 100% right, he is the weakest.

Does it leave my clownfish I'm attached to in good health? Lol
Do you have a soft wall? If not, underhand toss is probably better... :face-with-tears-of-joy:

But overhand makes the point better. @tbrown's story reminded me of how I 'cured' a really nasty female mutt we owned. Sometimes you just gotta take control.

I do agree on that. Uhmm... is anyone on here involved with PITA? :smiling-face-with-sunglasses:

I'm involved with Pitas and hummus or gyro meat occasionally...
