late night post, but have been out on the river crappie fishing. Wife asked if its good to fish after a storm, I said I don't know, so off to the river we went. The bite was terrible, only small crappie caught, released all of them

I have it, but did not know how accurate it is. I have another PAR meter, i can do a side by side here in just a few minutes
The Smorgasbord would greatly appreciate that man. I'd say there are more than a few of us making educated guesses at par

It may be, but the difference would not be 100 par
Correct. But on the sand bed if you striving for 100-150 par water quality, I assume could swing it enough to make a noticeable difference. I don't think you'd ever notice much near the top of the tank

It may be, but the difference would not be 100 par
It would be an interesting study, if someone had a tank with excessive organics and particulates, did readings, then remeasure after doing some maintenance and getting to more pristine water conditions. I wonder how much it could effect it? Seems like it could do a decent dent in a taller tank but I'm just hypothesizing right now

That's cheaper than here. We're about $16lb for the big sea scallops
I love me some good scallops. I don't buy em often though. Not the biggest seafood guy, and my wife isn't a seafood person really at all, unless it's fish chowder. So I usually only get scallops once or twice a year
