Quick question for you guys, maybe can help quell a bit of a sensitive topic for my wife and I :grinning-face-with-sweat: im supposed to get corals delivered tomorrow. Quite a few. That said I'm supposed to be out of town till 4 or so and they will probably get dropped off between 10-1. I geuss I didn't explain well enough what the process involved and the wife feels extremely overwhelmed. If I had her come home and inspect for DOA and just float the bags in my sump till I got home to dip and put them in the tank, would that most likely work out fine?

I'd say that's a good plan.
I've never ordered online but I think they'd be just fine done that way.

I think as long as they get into the sump and temp acclimate in bags you're good.

Like others have said, you'll be good. My most recent order of coral sat outside on my porch in 35° weather until 3pm, it got delivered at 11am. Everything opened up in one hour of being in the tank.

I also have an SBB order thats supposed to come in on Thursday and I wont be home for it until 3pm again.

Which her inspecting for DOA's covers. I just gotta figure out how to explain what DOA looks like to her even though I've never ordered corals online either lol. I assume, it isn't black/overly brown, and isn't falling apart is the best description lol

Have her check for clear water, no smell and no flesh peeling off of the coral.

if you want the recipe it' paper towel dry the cod, rub olive oil over it. add fresh squeezed lemon juice, salt, pepper sliced onion and paprika. bake at 400 for about 20 minutes till cooked.

Potato - place a pencil on either side of potato and cut down so you don't go all the way through. I stick broken tooth pics in to hold them open afterwards and pour Italian dressing over it so it seep down in the bake till cooked.

Yes, the should be fine at tank temp for an additional 3-4 hours.
