The other day I went to an lfs that I stopped going to for a while and they had a cbb that ate pellets, I felt like taking it with me since I lost the royal pencil, but I don't know if it will do well in my tank, none of my fish fight but they are very aggressive when it comes to eating lol, in a few seconds there is no food left

That's why I got a CBB feeder. My wrasses would also swallow everything edible before the CBB could get a chance.

The guy had 2 cbb and 1 moorish idol all eating pellets

Hi John, I just tested it 1 hour ago. New tank 1350 I am increasing since it was 1200 something and the old tank 1440. But alk was down on the old tank normally it is between 8 to 8.5. I am dosing magnesium separately as when I was using AFR the alk was going up faster than calcium and magnesium. Maybe time to go back on AFR on the old tank.

Do you buy the liquid or powdered AFR and do you make the mix yourself? And how are the tank doing with the AF life source?

I have the powder. I did only 2 times the life source on the man tank as after I had to make a lot of water and got the 2nd tank. I added also on the new tank to seed it. I will try to remember to do it again Friday night. Only today I receive the last thing for the 2nd tank (ATO).
