Corals that you direct feed and require less light, would love it there. Cynarina, scoly, mushrooms, trachys. Basically these guys on bottom. If you notice, most of them are under the arch, or tower and are at least partially if not completely shaded. Just some ideas

I cannot confirm nor deny, but some macro algae may or may not have made the trip home!

The orange fuzzy looking one is really that orange. I found everything in the surf!

I appreciate that John! There weren't many IPAs in the Dominican, but that had a local beer called Presidente that was pretty good. I mainly drank Dominican dark rum and a mixer, usually ice...lol...or a splash of their homemade "fruit mix juice" which was guava, papaya, pineapple and something I can't pronounce nor spell.

Want a scoly so bad, I wish they werent such stupid money! It's hard to justify $200 for the most basic ones ya know? Can't some mushrooms move? So if they didn't like the spot they could find a better one?

I'd avoid discosoma, personally. They seem to really spread quickly and thoroughly throughout your tank. I have nothing but good things to say about my collection of rhodactis. They're so hardy and I love their colors and crazy alien attitude. And yeah, gotta pay up for scolys, but if you're patient and shop around, you can run across something nice.

Sir, I had plenty of that!!
They also have a local liquor called mama Juana. It is rum, red wine and honey with a bunch of herbs/spices packed in the bottle. That was quote delicious as well.
You crossed my mind a couple times Luis, I wondered if you had similar foods, etc in Cuba since it is close to the Dominican. I also had this dish with mussels, calamari and shrimp in this sorta reddish sauce. It was SO good!!
