Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Kind of have a lot of parameter chasing going on right now, I bumped my AFR up just 1ml to 6, to try and raise my magnesium up just a little and it raised my calcium to much. Only dosing 5 ml per day at these numbers. todays testing.

phos - 1.0
nitrate - 25.0
dKh - 9
ph - 8.00
mag - 1260
calcium - 480

I guess magnesium dosing is needed, along with trying to get my nitrates and phosphates in a better ratio. nothing going on in my sump, thinking about turning my fuge light on and see if the film algae is all I need. Its amazing that I basically have minimal corals and minimal algae at the moment. wounder what's eating up my magnesium . this is last weeks (3/24) numbers before a 5 gallon water change to estimated 52 gallon system. I.O. reef crystals salt used. what would you do ?

phos - 1.0
nitrate - 35
dKh - 9
ph - 8.15
mag - 1170
calcium - 440

Well, went to the nursery and no vegetable seedlings. Called two others, one still closed for the winter and the other won’t be getting them for another couple weeks. I guess I just got spring fever. Turned the bed over and just picked up top soil and will lay that down and cover with weed guard until I’m ready to plant.
now is a great time to add chicken manure too. doesn't smell like cow.
I've got flowers on my tomato and peppers but no fruit yet. Just planted some squash. Going to try transferring that in a couple months outside.

might not use this one with a doser, it seems to settle a lot
If it fits on your stir plate... You could have it stir continuously or stir for 10-15 minutes before dosing?

All you people... @Elphirwjz is Wes's son. He's been here before.

Welcome back @Elphirwjz ! You were missed so much that Kevin forgot who you were

I think it will be minimal dosing to get to where I need to be, and until I get the other issues taken care of I don't mind manual dosing until I get there
