I have nothing against hunting or fishing, hope I won't hurt anybody feeling. It is mouth taste issue, I can't eat seafood since before I was 2y old (family prefers seafood to meat), don't like bone or fat on meat but could eat a beef fillet every day.

No hurt feelings at all. You expressed yourself perfectly. I'm that way about certain foods as well.

1) found out my tankless home hot water heater does support a vertical exhaust but I have 1 or 2 things going on. Either improper/damaged rain cap at the top of the vent. Or, I see other companies make a condensation trap, or another approach is a condensation drain/neutralizer, and all this is new to me and I am trying to learn more in my free time.

I am also a picky eater lol, a lot of things I don't eat, the same thing that happens to you with the fat in meat happens to me, even with chicken unless it is fried chicken and it is crispy, my wife makes fun of me with that hahahahahaha, what happens to me with fish is that I can eat it but what a normal person would eat a fish in 5 or 10 minutes, for me takes 30 because when I was little eating fish I stuck a fishbone in my mouth and I never forget that lol

I was thinking condensation because I have excess from my tank water heater. had puddles on the floor. had to put a hose drain into a pump then over to the basement sump. never heard it run but I have to clean it about once a year otherwise it forms crud and overflows. I would probably put an upside down U pipe at the end to keep rain out and still do a drain from the temp change which is more likely the humidity condensation thing.

@kingranch2003 John you are often doing fishing? Never did hunting or fishing but end of the day I won't eat it.

Remi, I primarily bass fish, completely catch and release ( except one I had mounted and is on the wall in my youngest son’s room) it’s the thrill of the catch, being on the water, trying to best my biggest catch, get a great picture etc. there is something full filling in it and it’s usually with friends who share the feeling. Occasionally I walleye fish strictly for a fish fry but they don’t put up much of a fight and it’s not as fun until they are battered and on a plate.

I’m right there with you Paul, Unusually cold and snowy for this time of year. I don’t understand, I’ve been running my car and tractor all the time when they are not in use to speed up global warming and seems to be having the opposite effect. :thinking-face:

Wife and I mainly Crappie fish in fresh water, we catch a lot of bass this way but we release them. Any catfish caught that are decent size go to the older lady down the street from us, she will take all that we can get her

Crappie are very popular here as well, I’ve caught both black and white but I never purposely fished for them but I’ve seen many people that do when I’ve been on the water. Prized for their taste.

Busy day today. probably wont be on much. have a shipment of zoas coming in today and also have the magnesium for the tank here and going to start it up. Then sadly have a funeral to go this afternoon for a friend of the family that has passed.
