I used to ocean fish 2 or 3 times a week.
We'd catch and release the cod, but the rockfish had to be saved due to damage to them bringing them up.
I don't really like fish but it was good battered and fried.
Caught a 30 lb halibut once.
Been fishing for salmon in Alaska but I have never hunted, never held or shot a gun.
As you know, cooking all day, food seems gross to me....

I don't mind cooking, as long as I don't have to clean up the mess. when I cook, I clean the pots before I eat. otherwise I'd probably throw them all out afterwards.

As also mentioned by Kevin I didn't think about catch and release, maybe less frequent where I lived in France. I would for sure appreciate to do fishing on boat. I got opportunity on holidays but it was only a line around a plastic round not with a rod so I passed.
I had a friend when I was in college, his father was a Michelin 2 stars and at home it was canned food.

I don’t get to the range as much. That was in June of 2020, not sure if you heard about the little pandemic we had going on, and I went a lot to get out of the house.
