Additional Aquarium Information

What do you think are the keys to your success in reefing?
Patience
Well that ended well! There is no catching them they are so fast. Without the feeders I would never know that there were so many around.
It was a little hit or miss at first. Had to throw a blanket over the window, leave the outside door wide open and kept walking around to shoo it toward the open door. It was a pretty unnerving 20 minutes or so because it didn't seem to appreciate that we had just saved its feathery little behind.

I know a lot of you garden. Does anyone have a fairly natural way to fight off pests in the vegetable garden? We're wanting to avoid anything that'll kill pollinators. Already using diatomaceous earth
Marigolds and I think Zinnias.

What foods do you use, for me to try here to see if any come?
We have Feather Dusters, Mexican Birds of Paradise, Esperanza, and Honeysuckle. They bring them naturally. There's hummingbirds most anytime flowers are in bloom.

Thank you Amanda! This is what my wife was wanting to use. I'll definitely get some to try. :)
I planned my flower garden with flowers specifically for the pollinators so I did a lot of research on hour to fight harmful bugs but keep them safe.

Seeing the tank as it is now, my theory that my tank has a different par in each half of the tank is closer or am I crazy?, since the half that has the 50 W nicrew is the one that is on and the other half has the 150 W, since they are set to the same intensity but one is 50 W and the other 150 W, they could have different par because of the diference in Watts, would I be correct or should I try with a par meter to clear up any doubts? Although I have wanted to do it for a while since I have never done that measurement.

That sounds like my wife. And you two are exactly right. I would've already blasted them with 7 dust if it was left to me lol. I like the natural anti chemical approach that she prefers. Thanks for this Amanda

Could be, but with the same chipset LEDs and the same lenses I would imagine par per LED is going to be the same. However, the 50W has 1 cluster and the 150W has 2 clusters so the clusters on the 150W, I assume, each have more LEDs and so PAR directly below those clusters are going to be higher on the 150W...

TLDR: Yes, maybe.

So my idea is not that crazy at all lol, mine are gen 1 so the 150 W have 3

Dinner was a dud, walked into the kitchen to tell my youngest son not to eat anything as he was removing two large elk cheeseburgers from the frying pan. My wife left to go to our uncle and aunt’s out at the lake. I left the corn on the cob in the pot, figured we could have it tomorrow. Dressed up a backed potato and mixed up a small salad with spinach and lettuce. I had marinated my steak with the same marinade recipe I used for the shish kebabs and the other two with steak seasoning. One of the best steaks, fat melted in my mouth, and I don’t think I’ll be grilling another steak in the future without this marinade. Plenty of leftovers if anyone wants to stop by and I can cook up the corn if I get a heads up.

Leave the lights on for me ;)

Ok, so each "puck" has 50W and each puts out the same PAR. 3 grouped that close will put more PAR than the 1 by itself.
